Easter Palm Contest in Lipnica Murowana, Poland. Here, a week before Easter Sunday, there is a fantastic competition to build the tallest palm. As tropical plants were rather rare in medieval Poland, the locals ended up constructing their own colorful alternatives, some of which rise to over 30 metres high.
